Full trajectory

From critical infrastructure to institutional agentic AI.

  1. 2024 — present

Chief AI Officer · Chief Operating Officer

NextAI Solutions · Grupo Fórmula · NextAI Tech International (McAllen, TX)

    • Author and owner of Grupo Fórmula's corporate AI policy, approved directly by the CEO, as the foundation of the group's Responsible AI framework.
    • Launched TVOAI Channel on Samsung TV+ Mexico — the first AI-curated FAST channel in Latin America; active distribution on LG Channels, Samsung TV+, Roku and TCL.
    • Delivered the historical conversational avatars of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera for the Casa Azul and Anahuacalli museums (Banco de México Trust) — the first conversational avatar of a historical figure installed in a Mexican museum, conceived as a derivative work with curatorial rigor, AI-synthesized voices and institutional governance. Casa Azul receives ~25,000 visitors/month.
    • Developed Avatar 2.0, an AI-powered institutional access control system for Grupo Fórmula's facilities, built on NAT's likeness.
    • Led and installed the AI avatar for Banco Santander's customer service center in Querétaro — the first conversational assistant with physical presence deployed in commercial banking in Mexico.
    • Established NextAI Tech International, Inc. in McAllen, Texas — the first international subsidiary for operations in the North American market — and since May 2026 lead the expansion of generative AI operations into Europe, coordinating a production team from Mexico for clients in Spain and Portugal.
    • Direct Lecturas de la Biblia, the first TV series produced entirely with AI in Mexico and Latin America, built on a six-phase AI-native pipeline with an explicit governance principle: automation operates within the phases, never between production and broadcast — no episode airs without human validation.
    • Leading the migration of the group's entire streaming distribution from provider OTTera to Amagi, coordinating counterparts in Mexico, the United States, South Korea and China.
    • Diversified the AI unit's client portfolio, adding accounts such as Allied Universal, XEFI Security-Santander, Legal Global Consulting and Data Evolution.
    • Negotiated strategic C-Level partnerships with AWS, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Adobe, Samsung TV+, LG and OTTera.
  2. 2022 — 2024

Deputy Director of IT, Artificial Intelligence and OTT Content Distribution

    Grupo Fórmula · Mexico City

    • Created and launched NAT (March 2023), the first AI-generated news anchor in Latin America, developed and launched in one month — an academic case study by the Reuters Institute (University of Oxford), with editorial coverage in Wired en Español, Mexico Business News, Expansión and Produ.
    • Designed and led the construction of Grupo Fórmula's new corporate Data Center (high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity) — the technological foundation for the group's current AI and digital distribution initiatives.
    • Led the end-to-end launch of TeleFórmula as the first channel on The Roku Channel Mexico (October 2022), establishing a pioneering position in the Mexican FAST market.
    • Automated TeleFórmula's multiplatform FAST/OTT distribution (Pluto TV, Roku, Samsung TV+, TCL).
  3. 2012 — 2022

    IT Director

World Cards de México · Mexico City · Monterrey · Wuhan (China) · Guayaquil (Ecuador)

    • Supported the production and distribution of more than 150 million SIM cards for operators such as Telcel and América Móvil over 10 years — regional-scale technology supply chain.
  4. 1999 — 2012

    Engineering and Systems Manager

TV Azteca · Campus Novelas · Mexico City

    • Rose from support engineer to Engineering and Systems Manager, responsible for the technology operations of the television studios, the Data Center and TV Azteca Novelas' archive.
    • Led end-to-end the creation of TV Azteca's new Data Center — from architecture to production deployment and continuous operation.
  5. 1998 — 1999

    Automation Engineer

Crestron · LATAM projects · Mexico City and Caracas, Venezuela
